POSITION:                 Database Administrator

JOB LOCATION:         Watchung, NJ & other unanticipated client locations throughout US
DESCRIPTION: Analyze, design, develop, test and install various client server, web-based software application systems.  Review the current design and architecture of the databases and implement enhancements to improve availability and scalability.  Gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements.  Design logical and physical database structures using relational databases on networked workstations in Windows and UNIX.  Interact with the application teams and/or end user community to gather and analyze the technical requirements to cater a better DB performance.  Develop user interfaces and systems features using various software tools.  Perform software integration and testing and develop enhancements and modifications.  Provide user training and technical documentation as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering + minimum 2 years experience as Database Administrator, Programmer Analyst, and Systems Analyst or related.

POSITION: Database Administrator

JOB LOCATION: Watchung, NJ & other unanticipated client locations throughout US

DESCRIPTION: Support day-to-day development activities by working with the application development team on database issues.  Conduct performance tuning/troubleshooting of complex queries and server performance issues.  Participate in the production support activities.  Build and manage Data Guard Physical/Logical Standby Databases.  Implement 10g RAC/11g RAC with ASM files system using Oracle cluster.

REQUIREMENTS:  Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering + minimum 2 years experience as Database Administrator/Developer/Architect (or junior or intern) or related.

POSITION:  Software Quality Assurance Engineer

JOB LOCATION:  Watchung, NJ & other unanticipated client locations throughout US

DESCRIPTION:  Interact with business users to analyze the business requirements and system functional specifications and prepare Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) documents to map the business requirements with the functional and technical requirements and test scenarios.  Review the Test cases and Test scripts.  Perform SQL queries for data validation and testing.  Work closely with internal teams (Development, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Production Support) to ensure highest level of quality for software releases.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or Business Administration.  6 months experience in job offered or 6 months experience as Software Quality Analyst, Software Engineer or any suitable combination of experience/education/training.

POSITION: Sr. Database Administrator

JOB LOCATION: Watchung, NJ & other unanticipated client locations throughout US

DESCRIPTION: Perform requirements gathering and participate in requirements review meeting.  Perform logical and physical database design and provide technical recommendations.  Deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements.  Create estimates and project plan for DB2 area based on effort required for database related activities.  Work on DB2 V10 upgrades and coordinate with project groups and business team to share project details and get the work done.  Support application programmers and testers in the developing and testing of DB2 applications.  Work on the SQL Replication (data propagator) and other leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to deliver solutions to customer.   Work closely with application development team on query tuning, application tuning for optimal performance.  Working on all customer defined SLA to ensure all the SLA is met in the timely manner.   Working with customers and team to resolve issues and queries related to the database activities and provide solutions as required.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering + minimum 1 year experience as Database Administrator, Database Analyst, and IT Specialist or related.  (Master’s may be substituted with Bachelor’s and 5 additional years of work experience.)
